"SEX and the City" fans love Manolo Blahnik, but is the feeling mutual? Asked by humorist Amy Sedaris in Bergdorf Goodman magazine how Carrie Bradshaw ended up wearing his iconic $945 cobalt blue shoes in the screen version of the HBO series, Blahnik admits he never actually watched the show, and only recently saw the movie in a hotel room. The half-Czech, half-Spanish shoe designer also says a "pretty Southern woman" once asked him to sign his name on her leg - a signature she later turned into a full-blown tattoo.
