LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – Actress Lyndsy Fonseca, who played one of the younger residents of Wisteria Lane on "Desperate Housewives," has booked a part in the comedy feature "Hot Tub Time Machine."
Fonseca will play Jenny, the girlfriend who slipped away from John Cusack's character in 1987. The time-travel story involves a Jacuzzi that somehow whisks a group of guys back to their youth.
United Artists' "Hot Tub," which is scheduled for a February release, also stars Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson and Lizzy Caplan. The screenplay was written by Josh Heald; Steve Pink is directing.
Fonseca just completed shooting "Kick-Ass" opposite Nicolas Cage. She continues in her roles on HBO's "Big Love" and the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" and stars with Drake Bell in the CBS comedy pilot "The Fish Tank." She also had a recurring role on "The Young & the Restless."
